"I Pledge Allegiance" By. Alexis Harris

The American flag,
Red, white and blue.
Fifty stars,
Thirteen stripes,
Dancing gracefully in the wind,
Like angels wings across the heavens.
A lonesome reminder of our countries freedom and strength.
So small and yet so big.
I stand under it with my hand to my heart,
Alongside other students and teachers.
The dew on the grass wipes against our shoes.
There's a slight breeze in the air.
It's cold out,
But still we stand,
Uniting together,
Pledging allegiance,
To one nation under GOD,
With liberty and justice for all.
The student body reciting a special promise,
A swear to be true to our country.
A swear to our flag,
The American flag.

This was written by my daughter Alexis for her portfolio in school. It is beautiful.

"I Am A Child of GOD" By. Paige Harris

I am a child of GOD.
My Father in Heaven.
I wonder why people think that they have it all,
And they are truly empty.
I am rich because I have JESUS.
I hear the angels rejoicing.
My Father in Heaven.
I see so many people living a sinful life;
They are cussing, hating and using my Fathers name in vain,
Though I was born into sin, I chose not to live that life.
I want to worship CHRIST everywhere I go.
I am a TRUE worshiper.
I am a child of GOD,
My Father in Heaven.
I am a part of a family of believers,
It is New Vision Ministry Center.
We will bless others and impact the heart of this city.
I feel love and happiness when I am in the presence of GOD.
I will touch my makers face one day.
My concern now is that I am not reaching everyone.
Am I not being heard?
Do they not see?
I cry to think about people not going to Heaven, but spending an eternity in Hell.
I am a child of GOD,
My Father in Heaven.
I see people that take life as a joke,
But I don't.
I declare now is the time to give your life to HIM.
I am a child of GOD,
My Father in Heaven.

This was written by my daughter Paige for her portfolio in school. The teacher read this poem and sat at her desk and wept. She had been saved a long time ago, but wasn't living for the Lord now. She said she always knew that there was something special about Paige and now she know what it is. It is the love of GOD radiating from of her life. Paige never talks in school. She is actually kinda shy, but the greatest witness is when words aren't spoken. It is a life lived for the Lord.

Man O' War Church in Lexington, Kentucky

We had the opportunity to accompany Pastor David to Lexington and minister in one of their revival services. A young girl caught out dance on her camera.
